These two products have literally changed my skin. I posted earlier about Park Ave Prescription and how it had removed my sun spots. It did, but they came back :(
I was recently in Paris when my friend told me about Caudalie and how incredible this skincare line was and what it had done for her skin. I bought two products in the beginning of Oct. They were:
Vinoperfect Complexion Correcting Radiance Serum
and
Premier Cru The Eye Cream
I have been using both day and night for just over a month and can say I look younger and more radiant by the day. I no longer use ANY concealer under my eyes (not even my trusty YSL Touche Eclat) and the redness is slowly fading on my cheeks. I also have smaller pores and my skin just seems to glow more. Oh and those sun spots? GONE!
I only post here about products I truly try and truly love and can say I am well impressed by Caudalie and plan to try EVERYTHING and incorporate it into my kit for clients as well.
Now, I know Caudalie isn’t the cheapest brand on the market, this is true, so if you’re unsure, go to your local counter or Sephora and ask for samples and try for yourself. To me, my skin is very important, especially as I am getting older, so its worth the investment. If you get overseas (or live overseas), its about half the price in Paris.
Your new favorite lip brush! COZZETTE P355
This is my absolute new favorite go to lip brush and will be yours too!
I recently had the opportunity to use this during Paris fashion week (lots of precise red lips!) and all I can say is I love love LOVE this brush.
Its longer than most lip brushes but doesn’t go floppy at the end and ruin your perfect shape and the edge of the brush is straight which makes getting those lip sides perfect with little effort and no qtips! The top part of the brush is rounded but still small enough to get a great cupid’s bow shape.
Can’t recommend Roque’s brushes enough and this one is for sure a MUST HAVE.
Go here to buy for only $15
Love love love your work. Really do.
Bite Beauty - Lip Rouge
I am so in love with this new line, Bite. Not only are their vitamin gels amazing for a sheer glossy look while conditioning the lips, but they taste good too.
My current obsession is the Lip Rouge though. These tiny pots of wonder are great for stained looks or super natural looks. I used them on cheeks too for a nice sheer color with sheen without looking too heavy. My favorite colors are Almond and Blush.

Hi Lottie,
I sometimes have a hard time keeping lash strips attached to the eye, especially in the corner, where the tear duct is. Any tips to make sure they stay on throughout a long shoot? Thanks. Love your work!
Melissa
Hi Melissa
No lash will stay unless the eye is completely dry. I dont usually put lashes that close to the tear duct. Its important to measure lashes against the eye to see if they need trimming before applying. Make sure you add glue to your lash strip and let dry for a good 30 seconds before applying. I use a rubber tipped tool to apply as close to the lashes as possible and then hold down the corners with my fingers to make sure they are on good. You want the lashes to align with the natural lashes so they dont look too obvious and dont forget to cover the gaps with black liner or powder to hide the strip.
Hope that helps!
Hi Lottie,
I'm trying to find out if there's a way to whiten brows without bleaching. Is it possible?
Hi there
Although brows are definitely back in a BIG way, but I also love the sans brow look. Most models wont let you bleach so my advice is to cover them (there are many methods and even tutorials on youtube) or try using concealer in the brows.
Hi Lottie! totally love your work! One of the big trends on catwalks is blue eyeshadow. Besides almost every eyeshadow pallet has at least one blue shade. Do you have any advice to make it more wearable without looking...let's say, tacky or over the top? Like using a Navy blue or dark violet blue? Thks so much <3
I dont think blue eye shadow is huge trend right now but there are definite ways of wearing ANY color without it looking tacky or over the top. You can wear a color as a sheered wash on the whole lid and nothing else aside from mascara. Another way to wear color is by using it as liner. Colored liners are very popular right now. My only advice - leave the glitter liners behind for now :)
in my kit I'm about to run out of Laura Mercier Translucent powder, I like it a lot, but sometimes it can be too fair on some people. I'm not that heavy on powder so I like stuff that isn't too heavy, similar to LM, but maybe with a little more color. I heard good things about YSL and Chanel, and I've always been curious about the T.LeClerc powders, but are they worth it? What do you like?
Hi there!
Personally I prefer Laura Mercier, Shu Uemura and MAC Invisible loose powders. Chanel is also nice but I would buy one of the above and spend the leftover money on a Chanel lipstick first ;)
hi lottie! hope youre well. I was wondering what your favorite products for prepping the skin are. Ive been using so mnay different products recently, they all seem to run together. Your models always have stunning skin. Whats your skin prep process? Thank you!! Best, Veronica Sinclair, www.MalibuMakeup.com
Hi Veronica
I think its a personally preference as to what you should use. Some things work for some and not for others. I first remove ALL makeup and mascara and then spray the face with water and then massage an almond oil or Embryolisse into the face before applying any makeup. If there are dry patches, I work Make Up For Ever HD Elixir into the skin before moisterizer to remove any crusty patches :)
New FAV brow pencil!
I wanted to share my new fav brow product with you all. I have tried ALL brow pencils known to man, the Japanese ones you can’t find anywhere, the powders, the markers, the mascaras, etc, etc. This my friends is hands down my favorite of them all and anyone who has worked with me can attest to the fact that I have an ENTIRE bag of brow products :)
The pencil is thin enough to create individual hairs and the color really is universal. I am a platinum blonde and its the perfect color for me and is build-able even for brunettes. It doesnt crumble or drag like other pencils and isnt too waxy.
Highly recommend!
